Swen Seyerlen war auch eingeladen. Er entwarf dafür ein weiteres mal ein Papier-Objekt und zitierte die barocke Bauzeit des Schlosses mittels soundreaktiver Mapping-Projektion und LED-Beleuchtung.

Tim Oberstätter zeigte nochmals seine Mensch-Maschine-Installation “Einstufung” und unsere Freunde vom MadLab waren durch ihren Institutsleiter Prof. Hartmut Wöhlbier mit einer interaktiven Installation vertreten.

After Vision’R 2011 success, focused on nomadic hybridations and local minorities cultures international resistances, for 2012 up to you to express your singularities and alterities, reactive or not to the geo-strategic actual contexts. Resistances and relative autonomies are both singularization sources.

Next Vision’R will take place around month of May 2012, with Paris days at the Mercoeur Center based on the May, 12 weekend.

Proposals reception period is open until December 5, 2011.

VJ, as usual, means "Live image scene", with multimedia, VJ, audiovideo performances, body performances with live pictures… human interaction/intention.

Vision’R is the actual VJ scenes collaborative Festival, about moving borders of VJing and exploring well known VJing territories. Democratic Festival with this large shared call, Vision’R programme is deep in the living art creativity of the VJ work in progress core.

Vision’R VJ Festival 2012 waits for your proposals (30 minutes minimum) for :
- experimental performances with live images (indoor with or without screens)
- outdoor performances with or without mapping
- workshops, lectures, meetings, showcases
- altering VJ sets (with musical part)
- VJ - AV contents for youth / kids scenes

Vision’R isn’t open to main or alternative corporate proposals, or entertainment ones.

Ab Donnerstag gibt’s dann die VJ Konferenz mit Workshopsangeboten, neuen Installationen und Parties in der Disco Zwei. Wir freuen uns auf Euren Besuch.

On 2011/3/11 the world saw a huge earth quake hit Japan. Tsunami washed away the city and it’s said that more than 20,000 people died. And now, the nuclear power plant is in trouble.
This project sends a cheer to Japan and its people who suffered, lost homes, friends and relatives during the disaster.

Paper Crane contributions come from the participants and audience at B-Seite Festival, showing that a lot of people around the world are worrying, and hoping the situation to get better.

As a result a final video installation, co-created at B-Seite, will show 1000+ projected Paper Cranes collaged from the ceiling using wires.

Für alle, die sich fragen, wie unser Festival dieses Jahr strukturiert sein wird, was wir von den “Call for entries” erwarten oder wie man Teil des B-Seite Festivals werden kann, hier mal ein paar grundlegende Informationen:

- Wir erhoffen uns hauptsächlich Einsendungen für spannende visuelle Ausstellungsobjekte oder -installationen (gerne auch interaktiv nutzbar), Audio-Video-Performances (auch Tanz oder Theater, falls nicht zu lang oder zu aufwändig in der Organisation) und Workshop-Ideen (möglichst mit einem zeigbaren Output und weniger Richtung Showcase oder Software-Schulung). Bitte immer mit Beispiel-Links und Kontaktdaten

- VJs sind auf unserem Festival herzlich willkommen und es gibt sicherlich auch Slots/Möglichkeiten sich zu präsentieren, allerdings haben wir hierfür nicht wirklich Budget oder von uns finanzierte Unterkünfte vorgesehen. Seit unser Gast, macht mit, nutzt das Festival für’s Netztwerken und als Inspiration.

Everybody asking what our festival will look like this year, what we expect for “Call for entries” or how to be part of the B-Seite festival, here are some informations:

- We expect primarily entries for exciting visual exhibition projects or installations (gladly interactive), audio-video-performances (also with dance or theater if it’s not too long or too complex to organize) and workshop ideas (targeting an showable output instead of showcases or software trainings). Please attach links to examples and your contact information)

- Vjs are very welcome at our festival and there are slots/possibilities to represent yourself. But we don’t realy offer a budget or accomodation for that. Be our guest, join, use the festival for networking and inspiration.

- Discuss, offer yourself als a helping hand, represent yourself and inform yourself via registration to our new board at www.jetztkultur.de/forum
